5 Stalwart Keighley Cougars Fans are doing a 127 mile walk in a fortnight over 4 days , along the full length of the Liverpool -Leeds Canal . The walk will raise money towards Rett syndrome research UK ...attempting to find a cure for what is a life changing condition for any youngster unfortunate enouh to be afflicted .
Estelle , 11 is the daughter of Al one of the Cougars most vociferious supporters and one of the walkers. Estelle developed normally until a year old and now has te capabilities of an 18 month old infant , from the effects of Retts Syndrome .
We are aimng to raise £5000 to go towards valuable research towards finding a cure for Retts , research that is already at an advanced stage .
