New South Wales to take it out and wrap up the 2012 series with a 12 point victory.

Well that's one way of looking at it RLW
I can't see Queensland buckling at home in this one.
There's likely to be a backlash.
So I'll go with a Maroons win by 8 points.

Just seen Billy Slater has tweeted he's not right yet and pulled out of the team

Here's the teams as of Friday:

So it's Greg Inglis who seamlessly moves into the Maroons full back position to replace Billy Slater.
Beau Scott has been brought into the Blues second row to replace Glenn Stewart who's failed a fitness test.
Other news:
Trent Merrin has been released from the extended New South Wales camp, with Matt Bowen and Dave Taylor omitted from the Queensland matchday squad.
Three top class players there. Dave Taylor's omission has come after what was considered a less than expected performance in the last game.
So if they don't stay and watch but return to their clubs these last three, with a point to prove, could have stand-out performances in Round 17.

Origin 3 turned out to be a good contest not without some bits of controversy.
I thought the result was fair enough though given that it was very close with a nail biting end to it.
Ben Creagh will be left with a physical reminder of the game sustaining, as he did, a 20 cm cut on his head ( I make that 8 inches in old money!)
Thurston got a bit of space to work in at last. Cam Smith and Cronk were the coolest of cool customers too.
The gap then was as small as it could be but that one solitary point was just enough to give QLD the series.

Another year down and dusted 2013 will be the year of the NSW Blues with a 3 nil white wash of the series.....That is if we are all still here after December 21st.

One thin I can confidently predict - If Blues do win the Origin Series of 2013 it won't be 3-0!
