This is a game we must win to stand a chance on making the top six,if we play like we do at home, then we will win this,if we get the away day blues,it will be another slip up for us.Positive thinking for me today,i'm going for Rams 30 - York 20,att don't care, one of my least fav grounds, lets get the win and get out of there.

I don't know why, blind optimism, alcohol or too much sun (lol), but I feel quite confident about this one.
We have some good players, with a new "team spirit" that seems to be developing.
I can only see a Dewsbury win!
Nurse!!!

I feel a win coming from this one, but we need Swinton to slip up at home to Keighley as well.

will not be attending this one...in their greed york are requiring £5 for a child...so £48 for an hour & a half's possible entertainment is a liitle much
so kids are the future of the game....think york should have a re-think and hope they have a future

All the people I know with youngones get their kids a season ticket then they get into the away games for free.

my 4 dont attend all games as their not hooked yet..and only been 6,8,12,13..we are in york friday to see the city & was going to take the match in as we were close to the ground...dont mind paying for 2 adults..but £20 for 4 kids not interested in the game is stupid marketing..£2 for a child or free with a paying adult sounds good enough for most clubs..i dont even get a discount for been a season ticket holder myself....think teams like york should take feathers out of featherstone & batleys cap where i can go watch for £10 & £5 respectivley.

Do Dewsbury do the same as Featherstone and Batley?.

because club fear to what is been lost..for an away supporter to come to their ground clubs see each one as £14 plus £10 for beer & a burger.
so every away supporter is woth £28 to their club
TOTAL C.OCK
if it going to cost an away supporter to go away in he has travel on top..so the figure for the paying away fan is more like £40 - £50 for his away day out
many many rugby league fans are feeling the pinch...and its easier not too go than fork out £40 - £50 for a few hours out.
how many season ticket holders would go away if it was £5 in for them, they would still buy beer, food, programmes and more often than not
spend more than it would have been at full price.
but the most important thing would be..they attended the game & spent money !!

Because all clubs dont own there grounds , and the landlords take about 50% of gate money

I fancy us to win but, equally, wouldn't be surprised if we slipped on our backsides once more. I expect that Thorman's imminent departure won't help York's cause so will predict a squeaky:
Wasps 24 - 32 DRLFC
Att 755
(Haven't decided whether i will be one of them or not yet.)

At the other end of the spectrum, I understand there is no concession either for t'older end! So, if true, what's your comment there Spanish Knight?

Very poor value for money at York.
Even the club itself doesnt make much money.
They really should have tried negotiating a better arrangement with the owners cos many supporters are happy to cross it off their list of away days purely because of the cost.

If you're in the capital of gods own county on Friday, get yourself down to The Press office in Walmgate and buy four copies of today paper, cost you £1.92, there's a voucher on the back page that lets under 16's in for free. Don't know if they can be downloaded. But it's a decent saving and it'll solve your issue.

After last weeks 70 min performance I'm expecting a decent away win. York have struggled this year, lost Alex Benson recently and this is a must win for Dews.
York 14 v 26 Dews
York 14 v 26 Dews

On the clubs site it says under 16s free for this game, so get yourselves down.
