Last night on Premier Sports it was the 9's Tournament. Won by Cumbria. They beat Fev in the final who got thro with a Tom Hemingway try golden point in the Semi. Also Wakey won the plate final, Captained by Matty Wildie.
Between the 2 finals was the Fastest Man in Rugby League race. 96metre sprint from a standing start. It was won by London Broncos winger , Chisholm of Leeds 2nd and our very own GARETH POTTS in 3rd. There were 19 runners. The commentators were saying Salford guy was 3rd but they had completely missed 'Pottsy' who was defo 3rd.

Well done Gareth.

He has shown that, with the scraps he has managed to grab, that he is one of the best finishers in the league. We really should be finding ways of getting the ball to him more often, as frequently he is stood out on the touchline and the ball is turned back inside eliminating him from the action.

I actually thought he finished 4th but since all the others around him were full time pro's from super league clubs this suggests that Gareth
is the fastest player outside super league,i would have liked to see Worrincy of Halifax competing to see who was the fastest outside SL
but since Fax were playing on Thursday they obviously didn't want him to compete, well done to Gareth.

Good wingers feed off the scraps theyre given and score tries, great wingers come inside and steal the scraps off the table and score more tries.
