Where will the Grand Final be held this year?
Will this league dis continue after this season and clubs to filter into other leagues?

Don't know about the grand final but I'd say it's 99% the league will be scrapped as 5 clubs are leaving and can't see where they'd get another 5 to fill their place, especially when ambitious clubs have the NCL option if they fulfil criteria.

couldn't they pull the clubs from the ex-BARLA clubs and use it as a staging post for clubs with ambitions of the NCLDon't know about the grand final but I'd say it's 99% the league will be scrapped as 5 clubs are leaving and can't see where they'd get another 5 to fill their place, especially when ambitious clubs have the NCL option if they fulfil criteria.
Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.<div align='center'></div>

No because if those clubs meet NCL criteria they could go straight there (until it gets 56 members)couldn't they pull the clubs from the ex-BARLA clubs and use it as a staging post for clubs with ambitions of the NCL
Theoretically they could let in Fryston, Cutsyke etc but doubt the extra travelling would be worth it for them.

Cutsyke are built on BARLA players (I know because I watch them) and I did say a staging post for clubs with ambition, IE till they can fulfil the criteria off the pitch. No because if those clubs meet NCL criteria they could go straight there (until it gets 56 members)

I'd also say both Fryston and Cutsyke are closer to the RLCN teams than Kippax.

Either way 10 teams is looking very very unlikely so they'd be better working towards having a Conference South. The shorter season would actually make fielding BARLA players nearly possible. Again Cutsyke will have problems in September if that is completely true.Cutsyke are built on BARLA players (I know because I watch them) and I did say a staging post for clubs with ambition, IE till they can fulfil the criteria off the pitch.

Is Conference South going to have a shorter season?

There probably isn't going to be one at all at least for a few years. They'll just have midlands and south premiers with short seasons still. The London clubs refused to join a Conference South basically as they have been doing for years. Is Conference South going to have a shorter season?
The comment I made was a reference to Conference 3 having a shorter season than the NCL.

There is no Conference South. It is a figment of one man's imaginationIs Conference South going to have a shorter season?

The RFL's imagination as they mentioned it in loads of press releases but never created it.There is no Conference South. It is a figment of one man's imagination

Jim, The Top 2 in the Yorks Premier postponed from last week.I'd also say both Fryston and Cutsyke are closer to the RLCN teams than Kippax.
Fryston vs Cutsyke this saturday. 2.30 k.o
There's been a bit of banter, it could get tasty.
They are probably 12 point favourites, but we've some dual registers to throw in, so we'll just have to see.....

This is because they are beholden to the wishes of the NCL and are waiting for it's slow democracy before making their moveThe RFL's imagination as they mentioned it in loads of press releases but never created it.

Agreed. Though they could still do something with the midlands and south clubs that aren't applying for the NCL but not sure they'd get enough teams. Then again the RFL shouldn't be so laissez faire that everything will work out. This is because they are beholden to the wishes of the NCL and are waiting for it's slow democracy before making their move
I got told from a very credible RFL source last year the plan was for a Conference South in maybe 3-5 years. But the RFL may have changed their mind since then.

Now they have the NCL in their pocket you may start and see why many people don't trust the RFL.Agreed. I could name names and certain clubs who are having fingers pointed at them from inside the NCL Bowes, I sense a rebellion brewing. The NCL aren't in the RFL's pocket at all.

The RFL had far more radical plans for the NCL that the NCL stood up to.I could name names and certain clubs who are having fingers pointed at them from inside the NCL Bowes, I sense a rebellion brewing.
