Andy Ballot. The season is actually 1997, I believe.

What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

I think I saw him turn out for South Africa v England at Headingley in the 1995 World Cup. A match I remember most for a load of bone-headed Leeds fans booing all Wigan's England representatives because "they play for Wigan".

He was terrific for us in is only season at the Mount, and then went to Hunslet for 1998. Hard-running tackle breaker.

Ala Sam Tompkins in the Exiles game at Headingley last year.
