Heritage day too and the fans lived up to the History apparently the walk started 7 minutes from time
but you and I weve been through that and this is not our fate.

Now then, what was it thrown at us earlier in the season... Ah yes

This probably one of the most frustrating aspects of the current situation. After years of ordinary players and ordinary teams, we finally seem to heading in the right direction. Results like tonight just go to justify the faith the fans have had in the team this year. Shame it's all for nothing really. If that's the end, what a result to end on.

Got some balls this Bradford team, great effort from the lads. Such a shame that the best team we've had for years might not see out the season

Excellent result! Well done Bradford, hopefully this won't prove to be one last stand for them.

If I'm not mistaken then this is Wigan's fourth loss of the season? If so then that means they can no longer beat our record of only losing 4 games in 2006. I expect few will really care and it means very little next to winning trophies I'm sure, but it's still something to smile about.

Well played Bradford, deserved win. Plenty of kids in the Wigan team today, but it was the senior players that under performed and cost us with stupidity.

Two lessons learned today;
1. O'Loughlin isn't a stand off as long as I have a hole in my 'arris.
2. Tim Roby is out of his depth as a SL official - truly shocking, both ways, no control whatsoever.

I was wonder why he is playing 6? No young lads to step up? How did Lloyd play?

Wane's stubbornness - it was obvious against Widnes that by moving Lockers to 6 we were losing his defence in the middle and he lacks mobility to play second receiver. He shoud've called Mellor back as a stop gap, because at the minute Finch is playing in the halves on his own.

Lloyd played ok - nothing special, more impressive in his previous appearances - still looks like he'll be a good un. Crosby did well and Logan Tomkins didn't have enough time to shine playing with a man down. The one that really stood out was Jack Murphy at full back on debut - did everything asked of him in defence and showed plenty pace and evasion in scoring a try from deep.

Taking nothing away from Bradford, but despite Wigan being well under par (particularly Hock, Finch and O'Loughlin) I'm convinced they would have had more than enough to grind out a victory but for McIlorum's moment of madness.

I'd imagine he's got a bit of that! Half back is the main position I think English sides are reluctant to give young players a crack at...

What did he do?

Looked like he caught an elbow off Elima after tackling him (hard to tell whether accidental or deliberate) and reacted with a punch to the face. Easiest decision the ref had all night and one of few he got right.

Once you stop McIlorum, you stop Wigan. The man's a God of RL.
Astute analysis from a Wigan fan:

Rumour going around Headingley that Wire will have to play the second half with 12 men.

It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.

Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

Bradford by 8.

Impressive....as were all three results tonight, as far as I'm concerned. Would be nice if Salford carried tonight's form into their next away game also. B)
On 13/2/2013, Hull City's owners the Allams, released a statement in their position as the owners of the KC Stadium Management Committee. One line in this statement read as follows....

"The SMC's principal responsibility is to remain neutral"

Just got back. One of the best night's supporting the club ever. And then when you stopped to think about it, one of the worst. Fans were still singing in the back of the stands well after the full time hooter had gone. Loved the players & staff coming over and celebrating after the final whistle. Whatever happens, a night to remember.

Magnificent effort from both the team and the fans.

A night that will stay in the memory for a few years.

We had some luck from Wigan blowing chances but, overall, I think we deserved it just for the effort that was put in.
