All you york fans that criticised Esders last year saying he wasn't committed and had a poor season well tonight he showed just how committed he was by scoring the opening try and the closing try and overall just destroying yorks defence.

The fan who had ago at Esders last season was Twoblues, if you remember he tore you apart last season while playing for us, his only fault at York was he left his winger alone on the wing to cover 3 players.

Actually Ryan was left on his own to defend because thorman cant tackle and Dennis tooforth was in his own land and the second rowers use to disappear Ryan was one of the strongest defenders in the team and is also one of the strongest tackler in dewsburys side as well

What defence? No disrespect to Ryan but if you think that breaching the Knights defence makes a player good then perhaps you should change your name to the mistaken one.

No breaking the yorks defensive line isn't difficult because none of them can tackle but if you notice every time he has played featherstone, Halifax, all the top teams even super leauge teams he manages to break through creating trys and even score them himself so Infact you should be the one changing your name to the mistaken one. What defence? my brother is to good for your team anyways, also have you forgotten he decided to come to York on loan when he played for harlequins have you forgotten that he helped York to get to the play-offs and have you forgotten when he helped you get to the final and win the final you York fans are fickle as soon as someone plays bad you are the first to knock them down but when Esders was helping you to achive things that York could never achieve without him you wasn't saying bad things about him then so why don't you run along and play somewhere else because my brother is not ingested in you !If he's that good why is he playing for the Rams?, H.K.R. got rid because he is not good enough now run along and play elsewhere were not intrested in you big brother.

I too have followed Ezo's career since his days at the Dockers and I don't want to get involved in what would seem to be an unnecessary spat but Ryan has always been a quality player and if his temperament on-field didn't occasionally get the better of him, then he would have a lesser input for that.
If all players wore their heart on their sleeve like Ezo does and competed like he does, rugby league at Championship level would be a much more entertaining game for it and maybe some of the missing crowds would wander back.
I was sorry to see him leave the Knights on both occasions but always look forward to watching the guy play and wished him well before the game last night and he had a big influence on the Rams win.
Oh. and to roll back to the first post... while I admire the fact that you stand his corner as his brother ( though I doubt Ry needs it ) , just because a couple of York followers doubted his commitment, one shouldnt tar us all with the same brush.
All the best to one and all.....

Have to agree with Andy - for me I'd still have Ryan in my team - yes you never knew which one would turn up but when on form he gave 110% for us and I personally believe that it was more often than not...:-)

I didn't aim the fickleness at all York fans just the ones that was quick to jump at the chance to call Esders for his bad things not his good things and I appreciate the comments vodka queen and andyacko
