I thought his current contract expired at the end of this season, but don't know if the club have given him a new one.
I'm guessing that the majority wouldnt want to see Warren get another, so (assuming the club havent already appointed WJ) who should be given the job for next season?
Barry Eaton was touted for the job before Warren was appointed, but not sure where he is now (Hunslet?). Ryan Sheridan maybe?

Ryan has been a very important cog in fev's championship domination over the last two and a half seasons, hopefully he will stay and see the job through where he is an important cog in getting us into SL in 2015
only way featherstone will get in to SL is
cas & wakefield following bradfords troubles

what exactly has warren done wrong i find myself asking and what would improve by replacing him . to my mind things are improving and i believe in continuity at the moment myself and i want him to have the chance to recruit the standard of player that we need to keep improving next year . we have beaten ALL the teams so far this season that i hoped we would beat before we began and gone close to some bigger fish as well .To change the coach now would be a negative step to my mind although if someone gave me some alternative credible arguaments i am open minded enough to listen .

I still cannot understand what would be achieved by replacing warren , to my mind we have shown improvement this year on last year and last year the budget allocated to players was not done correctly . not by warren but by the club . If a change was made it would have to be condusive to an improvement in playing standards by a new coach which to my mind would not be certain by any means .

I think you maybe forgetting last season when we finished in the relegation places. Had we not been saved by the Crusaders demise we would have been playing in NL1 this year. In my opinion we are not playing much better this year.
With the quality of the players we have at the club we should be doing better than we are.
One criticism of the chairman is that he gives coaches too long in the job. We had Andy Fisher too long, we had Andy Kelly for too long and now we are getting the same with Warren Jowitt.
A change is needed before next season!!

We were saved by Barrow`s financial situation, nothing to do with Crusaders, apart from that I agree with your postI think you maybe forgetting last season when we finished in the relegation places. just out of interest who would you put in the hot seat, personally I`d like to see Matt Diskin & Ryan Sherridan, if they could be persuaded

Problem is, as other have already alluded to - Who would you replace him with?
...Perhaps Dennis Betts

Sorry you are right, it get's confusing with the constant upheaval in the game.
I think Barry Eaton would be the right man for the job, knows the club, the supporters would back him and if knew he couldn't get anymore out of his players he would walkaway, unlike the current coach.

Steve crossley plucked from the reserves at the bulls and now one of the best props in the division .
Ben jones recruited pre season and also playing very well despite injury
Ryan esders signed from york and proving to be a very useful player .
greg scott nobody had heard of and looking promising
james craven improving all the time and fulfilling his potential
ayden faal was the butt of fans ridicule two years ago but has improved dramaticaly
scott spaven signed from doncaster and has improved as the season has progressed
josh tonks has improved this season as has elliot cosgrove imo .
i cannot think of any of our players who has deteriorated this year amongst those that have been playing and to my mind the player recruitment by warren has been very good with just a couple of exceptions . i reckon that with three or four aquisitions for next year we will be up there with the best in this division and i do not want personaly to see this progress interfered with at the moment .

It is the natural condition of sports fans to want the ultimate success for the club that they support. The psychology is well understood in that for many of us sport can serve as an escape from the humdrum of everyday existence and through it we can achieve vicarious success that might be denied to us in the real world. This leads to ambition regularly outstripping reality and resource.
An example lies just up the road at Bradford where the directors are being castigated for their poor governance of the club, yet we know that they would be equally castigated for not investing in players, coaches etc. The balance can be very difficult to achieve. It is said, truthfully I believe, that the ultimate ambition for most supporters is for there to continue to be a club there to support until the day they die, preferably but not necessarily with a bit of silverware along the way. Along these lines, and with the Bradford scenario well to the fore, it has even been suggested that supporters should closely question their board about just how they intend to finance whatever plans they have for the forthcoming campaign, ambitious or otherwise. The response, especially at our club, might be startling for some.
I believe that dissatisfaction with Warren stems from previous campaigns, particularly last season, and is also exacerbated by Batley's current success. There has been an undoubted improvement in the quality of many displays this season, but these have been spoiled by one or two woeful ones. The question continues to be begged: who is there available that we could afford, who would put as much into the club as Warren, and who could be guaranteed to be more successful given the same resources?
I personally don't have an answer to these questions.

Bringing the best out of the players is a fair and good point which deserves study . Lets look at some of our players and analyse their progress .

I agree some of the players have improved this year and some of WJ's recruitment has been OK but anyone can spin things to suit.
The reality is that we are still a bottom 3 club and if Barry Eaton had more resources at Hunslet I would be fairly certain we would finish rock bottom.

Heard from a couple of sources at Castleford that Gary Thornton is a shoe in for the Rams job when Wozza's contract runs out.
So you've said.
Do you know who's going to replace John Kear at the end of this season?
