It seems anyone who faces reality is thought of as Grucker. It is unfortunate for the people who have been barred by the thought police when they are innocent. ask Keef to run a check and you will find we are all like minded individuals who are living in distant parts. I suppose the retards will think I am in Grucker.

With all due respect to whoever you are, you peddle offensive, personal material and in this post call those who find it offensive retards.

It beggars belief.

I have posted no offensive material on any of my posts, just personal opinions. In my opinion people who have closed minds to the opinions of others are retards. I believe in keeping differences within the family in the family however you seem to have a different opinion. Any more bile and I will become personal.

The whole Ostrich campaign is designed to upset and intimidate for reasons I cannot fathom. So long as we are allowed to make our own minds up without offensive material being thrust upon us, I can tolerate any point of view. The way the Ostrich thing is being bandied about just goes too far.

It is important to remember that people of all ages and orientations use these public forums. You should use them in a way in which all can participate rather than feeling threatened and intimidated.

Your reference to "family" and "bile", is unnecessary and is designed to do just that. I personally don't have the hang-ups about it but it stops being a safe place to be and one to rather avoid.

Come on now, no need to be like that! It's disappointing that you're not willing to buy into the Ostrich concept. Visit the fabulous site, buy one of their fantastic t-shirts - designed by the foremost fashion minds in the Heavy Woollen district - and I guarantee you'll find yourself pecking at the carpet for pieces of edible detritus in no time. Remember - the Ostrich may be a flightless bird, but Eagles get sucked into jet engines.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

These Ostrich etc posts are Trolls, which I'm disappointed to see Harold supporting - I expected so much better from him.

The objective of trolls is to provoke you into responding to which they will then reply with an alternative objectionable slant, provoking you to respond etc. They get their kicks from extending the length of debate as far as possible. Do not expect a logical or reasonable response from any of these.

The best possible response is to completely ignore them - they get bored (very short attention spans) and eventually go away. As with this individual they have a habit of cropping up in different guises (sock-puppets) but the style is generally recognisable.

I repeat, ignore him/them.
Believe what you see, don't see what you believe.

Voila - he now believes he has a fev branch of his fan club. I visited his site once, hoping for a good laugh - even at the Rams expense, having read his own publicity and that of one or two sycophants, but I was hugely disappointed - it wasn't funny (unless your idea of funny is Russell Brand) just puerile rubish. I used to get more laughs on replays of June and Terry. Best of it is - even some of his mates think he should grow up. Now there are one or two posters on the dogs site who would make it amusing (PM are you listening) - maybe gruck Ostrich should get them on board.
Of course it could just be that some of us find the whole WJ thing beyond amusing anymore - I believe dogs fans went through a similar phase four or five years ago. ;)

Does it really matter who is coaching next season you wont have the same squad and if wj does get kept on who is going to want to come when they know how bad a coach he is more impotant who is going to want to stay has any of this squad signed for next season yet.

Not at all P.M., you're entitled to your opinion of Thornton - as is anyone else.
My opinion is that he was absolute garbage, and persistently underachieved with decent squads - being allowed to remain in his job for so long under the pretence of 'survival being our aim'. I can't see any evidence to the contrary.

So you already know how some of the rams faithful feel. Thing is though, GT is a honorable bloke and resigned before it was too late (an act in itself which should leave him respected rather than pilloried), and you had the enormous good fortune to have KH available and willing to help out his brother. Add to that the fact that he had a good squad to work with (thanks to GT's astuteness), and that doncasters problems enabled him to sign tiger (someone who contributed as much as KH in turning the club arround IMO) and it's obvious why things worked out so well for you. By contrast, the rams have little chance of being able to afford a high profile replacement for WJ, and a low profile replacement such as those mentioned might be just as big a gamble as keeping faith with WJ. He might not be everybodys cup of tea, and he certainly isn't mine, but i can understand why MS might give him another chance. I just hope the contract is results dependant.

There is one thing at least under WJ you know you wont be relegated. But also know its unlikely you will make the play offs so its a catch 22 if you ask me.Its a gamble to keep him and also release him i think a big factor is who would you replace him with?

He actually resigned two SEASONS too late, when it was clear we were headed further down a disastrous spiral. Or perhaps he should have gone in 2005? That' why he has no respect from me. As for his 'astuteness' - sorry, I can't accept that. Give any knowledgeable fan from these forums a wedge of cash to assemble a reasonably talented squad on a set budget, and I wager they could achieve that. Making them play well, and as a team, is something different altogether - something he couldn't achieve in a million years.

On what grounds did you think GT was a good coach for Batley? I think what is needed, is someone to produce some stats to show how good his coaching performance was, I will try my best to get this info, then hopefully this will stop positive feedback from a number of deluded Rugby fans. Without the detailed facts, it was still glaring obvious his performance as a coach at the mount was unsatisfactory, but the reason behind my positive unsatisfactory mark, is down to his loyalty for Batley thats it. Coach of the year 2006 wasn't the most effective decision by the crooks at Red Hall, but when you look at the poor situation our game is in, it's no surprise regarding that decision. RFL are becoming laughing stocks.
