I went last night Harry Carter looks a really good prospect.
Saw him playing for the U/18's last week, ran the show and by far the best player on the pitch. He'll be a first team regular in a couple of years hopefully.

CARTER PENS KNIGHTS DEAL
York City Knights are delighted to announce that star Under 18’s hooker
Harry Carter has signed a two year deal with the club. Carter has been in
fantastic form for the young Knights all season and has impressed club
staff enough to earn himself a professional contract. He made the step up
to the reserves team in last night’s match at Halifax and showed up well.
Commenting on the news a delighted James Ford (U18’s Head Coach) said,
“Harry is a competitor by nature, he wants to win at everything, even
things you’re not supposed to win at! He has demonstrated his ability in
all the 18’s games this term by terrorising teams with his pace,
intelligent distribution and his aggressive defending. I’ll be proud to
play alongside him next term and with a good off season behind him, I’m
sure he’ll be a big hit with the players, coaches and spectators”.
Knights General Manager Ian Wilson was also quick to praise Carter and
those involved in his development,
“Harry is an outstanding talent with a real will to succeed and become a
professional rugby league player. I genuinely believe that we have two of
the best up and coming hookers in the country with Harry and Kris Brining,
and I am looking forward to seeing them both develop over the coming years.
I would also like to thank James Ford and his coaching staff in the Under
18’s for the work they have done with Harry, and the rest of the squad
this season. Also a special mention to the members of staff at Wakefield
College who are involved with the Rugby League team and the Athlete
Development Programme, which Harry has really benefited from”.
