Please note that if the weather is bad and cricket cannot go ahead there are indoor events planned!

Everyone should still go and enjoy the day out.

Twenty 20 Cricket Challenge - this Sunday!

This Sunday (8th July) sees the Hornets Players take on a group of Hornets Supporters in a Twenty20 Cricket Challenge.

The event is taking place at Milnrow Cricket Club (postcode OL16 4HF), and events on the day are taking place from 12:00pm, with the main match scheduled to begin at 2:00pm.

Events include an opening training session at 12noon and an under 7’s Rugby League exhibition during the tea break.

We welcome J.W. Lees who are the Match Sponsor; and Alliance Maintenance Services who are the Match Ball Sponsor.

Entry for the full day is only £2 per person, and FREE for those under 16 years old.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of......
