Paul Jackson, Danny Orr and Ryan Hudson at Castleford are all available... I wonder if they get on well with GT?

Also a permanent half back partnership is a must. Danny Nicklas & Danny Orr maybe?

I think these are the kind of experienced players York should be after to help the young lads like Bush and Garside prosper. Any others?

He made some very odd signings at Batley, mixed in with some half decents ones who for whatever reason never quite lived up their reputation they had before they arrived.

Will be very interesting to see what calibre of player he brings in.

I agree, think a really experienced loose forward is also a must, along with a much bigger pack, difficult to build a squad on limited funds also need the crowds back as well,not an easy future by any means.

Kingy not signed as on a one year contract but did say in press if a contract was put to him he'd be happy to sign but that was before Thorman decided to leave end of season

and according to some Batley supporters John Garry Thornton will not be a good coach but i beg to differ.

Nah, he'll be rubbish. He's played for Batley previously under Thornton.
