While watching the Featherstone - Leigh game on Thursday, just thinking of all the payers we have lost to them in the last two years,Finn,England,Lockwood,Maloney and Bostock, who will go next? I think Craven is good enough to get in the 17,Faal gets better every year, but i think Crossley will be on the list of a few teams for 2013.We need to get these players signed up now.On the other hand, don't anyone think its a waste seeing Bostock on the sub's bench, would love to see him back in a Ram's shirt.

Regarding Bossy, he's said he wanted to play in second row instead of centre from now and since then he's been bench warming.

Mr Esders has been one of our consistent players this season, never afraid to do the hard work in defence, hope he's not on the radar of Mr Powell,or is he?

I really think you need a new coach.

I suspect he wants us to take a certain Mr Jowitt of their hands. ;)

I also think its because Fev can do a better job of getting the performances out of the players, something all players hopefully aspire to achieving.

Finn had plenty of knockers when he was with us, in fact i think Bostock is the only player that didnt get an earbashing from the rams supporters at one time or another (and ironically he is the one that has probably under-achieved at Fev imo)

If we were to take a player off you for next season i would say it would be esders he as the potential to be something special IMO.

Fair point grumpy but do you honestly think the players in question would be anywhere near as good as they are now under WJ? We picked them up as average players and DP as worked his magic on them like he as with most of our team.

Maybe. Good players can look average when surrounded by other average players. They start to look a whole lot better when the quality of the players around them also improves.

As an example, how many Aussie "stars" of the past looked simply mortal when surrounded by some British journeymen?

I agree BSJ but no way were your ex players that are with us now as good as they are now.Dont get me wrong they had potential under WJ but IMO i dont think he could of improved them to the standard DP as got them at now just my opinion though.{i just think WJ isnt a good coach but like i said just my opinion though}Also i realy do believe like i said in my previous post i think you guys would of made the play offs with someone like matt calland, gary thornton etc{not saying you wont make the play offs but i think you would of had a better chance with a better coach}.

Ingy from a slow start has come on in leaps and bounds and must now be one of the leagues form props and in another season with Fev will be revered as much as Tonka or Stu are now. Locky is Mr Reliable and again is really stamping his authority on a game.
Liam was one signing I balked at and along with Bryn couldn't understand why Daryl went for both of them - shows how much I know - one was our top scorer, t'other was the CHampionship player of the year.
Regards Bossy - a utility forrad these days. His days in the centres are done for me but near the opponents line when he gets a trundle on he's still extremely difficult to handle.

So who's next. Dunno. Maybe none. So long as it's a legal approach (and after Bossy I would assume it will be nothing other than such) then job's a good un.

Whether we recruit from our juniors or elsewhere I don't really care. As long as we get the type of players with the right physical/mental attitude in position the coach/bod would like, I'm happy.

Well I don't want to labour the point gaz, but we signed an average journeyman winger called powell from fev, who under Warrens expert tutilage, blossomed into a player good enough to sign for ... erm ... fev.
