Both sides had to graft for every point. It's the way the game should be played.

Belter that, far better for us than a 50 point blowout. I know PmJ has to make friends but it gets a bit tedious when he rules out ALL of our tries, there was nothing forward about that Atkins cracker.
Astute analysis from a Wigan fan:
Rumour going around Headingley that Wire will have to play the second half with 12 men.
It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.
Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

Well I certainly enjoyed that, Wire just about deserved it but Catalans defensive stint in the first half could have won it for them and I don't think if they did anyone could complain.
There'll be some sore bodies in the morning after that one.

Brilliant tough game, loved it.
To give Atkins mom though is an insult to Hill and Westwood who were simply outstanding.
As good as Deureau is, id say he lost them that game with some awful turnovers.

In cyber space I don't care about friends.... But to be honest, I like to be honest.
It was forward and you can't deny that..... Great game of rugby league.
Do you think I'm Ganson or lindop or Wakefield or holdsworth.... No I'm honest... Wire fans can be honest!
Sometimes being honest makes you a better person, and my sons (8 & 9) don't like cheats so why should I teach them anything different, forward is forward and losing control of the ball isn't a try..... Anyway you're never wrong so I'm happy to leave it there.

Dave, don't disagree with you often, Atkins was awesome tonight, I don't say that often about Ryan.
Hiil is going to be some player
Ben always give his best.
But Ryan made yards and yards tonight and rightly got Sky's man of the match.
Awesome game though

I never like MOM at the best of times but picking out one individual from a game like that is just stupid.

It was forward, and an honest wire fan..thought it was a good advert for the game, could have gone either way until the drop goal.well done both teams..as a saint, not a fan of wire, but glad to stay in third. In cyber space I don't care about friends.... But to be honest, I like to be honest.

That was a cracking game for the purists
Westwood try shouldn't have ever been given, shocking call - then again do we expect better from Ganson?
Hill & Carvell were awesome, without a doubt the best front row pair in SL (how much do I want to see Hill, Carvell & Crabtree line up against the Aussies!)
Westwood just doesn't stop working does he, then again Beaver is just astonishing
Ref did heavily favour Wire in his calls and non calls - the one sided reffing is getting alarming (in all games IMO)
Ultimately though the difference was a couple of poor choices by Les Cats - early on the centre could have put the winger away 1 on 1 against Hodgson then later the kick to the corner after a break when the pass would have put a 3 on 1 overlap and a try.
Super game between a champion team and one nearly a champion team.

It was a game of two halves really. The first was for the purists: bruising, defences on top but enthralling nonetheless. The second half opened up but the defences were still good. Catalans bombed a few opportunities throughout their match mainly by simply taking the wrong decision. Had they made the right choices I would say another two maybe three tries for the Dragons tonight? They did cross another time but their player got a half a big toe in touch and so it was chalked off, which was a shame because it was a great non-try!

It wasn't forward, as the half-time replay clearly showed, but I understand that people are influenced by Stevo and I'm relaxed about that.
Don't like disagreeing with Dave but Atkins was immense tonight, there was one try-saver on Pelissier that made a massive difference. Of course, Westwood, Hill and Carvell were brilliant, it was that sort of game where picking a MOM was going to unfairly dismiss players who were great too. Baitieri, Ferriol, Casty: they were wicked too.
I had just pointed out to my missus how good Dureau was, so glad to tempt fate and induce him to produce a few brainfarts in the vital last 15.

I seem to be outnumbered on the Atkins point so happy to concede.
My point was generally that i thought Hill and Westwood were the outstanding players on the pitch. I thought we utilised our outside backs very little so was surprised one of them was mom.
Like i said, happy to concede that point though after a great win!!!!

Tonight for me was a proper rugby league match! Your forwards give you the platform and the chance to win a game, your backs go and win it. The forwards were immense tonight, with Ryan delivering the matchwinning plays in attack and defence.
Shouldn't forget Ben Harrison either tonight, immense. Still, not sure he has the media presence so no chance of getting past JJB or Wilkin for England honours.

Chuffed reading that. Sometimes you can be behind on the score board and yet win. I thought Catalan made a lot of friends with that effort. Pleased with the two youngsters Cardace and Pelissier who will have learnt a lot playing at that level while captain Casty is up there with the competitions very best.We watched it on BeIN Sport the al-Jazeera Sports Channel for the first time. They have Sky but its pleasing now the French can listen to their own commentators Pires and Bonnery.
Louis Anderson couldn't make it unfortunately but has found time to climb Catalans great peak Pic de Canigou all of what 7,000 feet with members of the Ille sur Tet XIII club.

si tu (remi casty) devais envoyer un fax au president guasch?
