OLDHAM Rugby League Club's Whitebank Stadium, a regular target for vandals, has been hit again.
Police, fire fighters and an ambulance crew were at the ground on Sunday evening after it was reported that trees were ablaze and children were in the vicinity. No one is believed to have been hurt.
Said club chairman Chris Hamilton: "Trees inside the ground had been set on fire and a stretch of picket fencing, between the scoreboard and the bottom end of the ground, had been vandalised."
Only three weeks ago vandals broke into the match-day office and set fire to the interior, causing extensive damage.
The club (0161 628 3677) would welcome assistance from anyone with information.
