If it's true then let him go... It's a shame as he clearly is a good player, didn't he leave Leigh since money wasn't available.....as Leigh now seem to have their finances on track maybe he has been influenced that way.

I would not play him again this season, I don't care how good he as been.

For me a player who signs for another club whilst still in the current season says to me no respect for his club. If your looking at another club do it in the off season.

I agree with Greengrass! It should be in the rules that a player cannot talk to any other clubs until his commitments to the club that he is contracted to have finished.

There is that duffy but players need income like anyone else and if that player is'nt wanted/or wants away at the end of his contract then thats up to him.You should do what we do at fev sign the guys up after a few games into the season who you want to keep for next season then offload or dont renew the guys you dont want its worked for us.

How do you know the information is correct? according to the Leigh website they are looking on the Swinton forum for more information!
So where have you seen this? or is it chinese whispers???

I agree with the fact they need to sort there contracts out but the season finishes in Sept and Starts arounf Feb, this is long enough to sort a contract out. To me it is disloyal to our club he as even spoke to other clubs never mind signed a contract. If I was coach I would get rid now how do we know this wont unsettle the team. Get him out and make a statement to the other players.

I dont think its anything new that there is a merry go round of players at this level every season now.
If it is true ,and I presume it is, then it is sad because he has been probably our best player this year.
Im equally sure though that we will sign other players from other clubs in a similar way.
I think the only thing that we can really complain about is the timing....and to be fair that hasnt come from any kind of official announcement(as usual.)

I asked one of the powers that be and he suggested it was rubbish,although did state that Rowley had said Leigh were looking at a Swinton player......read into that what you will.

According to the official Co-Operative Championship preview of tomorrows game it says Higson is unlikely to feature for Swinton again this season due to injury.
