Friends with Taulapapa and a few other Sheffield players from his time there.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

Wouldn't want him anyway. No discipline and a liability. We have MUCH better forwards than him.

He's one of those players you don't like but if he were in your team you'd love him. But as Chairman said, absolute liability!

AT 4-18 at HT in the semi at the Don Valley last week, Sheffield had the game won. 2nd half came and Sam was running like a man possessed inspiring Manning, Gannon et al to do likewise. Proper old fashioned game turning performance that was t'other night.
It's just that that type of performance is balnced by those ill disciplined mind baffling efforts from him that we see all too oft.
Would I want him in my team - well, please don't take this as arrogance but, on balance no..... simply cos I think we have as good/better for the mo. But if I was a fan of any other club at this level I think I might!

TBH I like him, you can't beat a bit of biff, bit like Ryan Bailey, but agree on the penalty front.

Harrison appears to have tamed him this season, the way he exploded in the play off game at Bramall Lane last season was particularly spectacular.
why dont they just give andy farrell his medal now?- ray french before the challenge cup final 1998
