Haynsey to be offered contract for 2013, had his operation yesterday, sounds like
any decisions will be made when he's recovered.
Hope it all went well & really, really hope he's with us next season.

Certainly missed his drive and determination, hope he signs for 2013 season providing he's over the injury niggles,players like James are hard to come by.

According to the RL Express today, we have signed Simon Brown from Sheffield for 2013.

If its correct, a really good signing for me, half back who kicks goals for fun, 40/20 specialist,
will get us repeat sets & will make sure we are playing in the right areas of the pitch.

Would be a good signing, just need another half dozen or so of the same quality, hope Thornton gets his little black contact book out.

Why don't we resign all those lads that went to Gateshead at the end of last season cos they had an ace season and would be a massive asset in our title challenge next year.

Not sure what you're getting at there fella. Thunder again have had a bad season but what do you do with half a team that can play at that level and half that can't, keep trying to build I would guess? Kept a close eye on ex Knights players across CC1 and those that seemed to lose form with us certainly seemed to have picked up plenty of RLE MOM's, tries, team of the month etc so I wouldn't knock em too quickly. And let's face it they made us look s**te in the NRC. TBH our record in this Div is almost equal in comparison to them in CC1....after spending a small fortune to boot and with reserves to call on!

Just watched a couple of games that he's played in this season, got a good kicking game but we need a big pack for him to play behind.
