A noticable lack of comment about today ?
Rocket Ron and Brother Tone would have been proud of me today. Took the sat-nav and still took one wrong turning going and FOUR coming back - how I hate that journey !!
Decent first twenty minutes or so and then the errors took over.
Ollie Olds looks a reasonable prospect, very mobile and tricky, Dario Esposito looked dangerous each time he took the ball up close to the Cougars line - got one try and almost another. Prycey and George Elliott seemed to get few opportunities to run in possession today. Fordy took a really bad knock and limped away from the ground and his lack of presence seemed to unhinge the left side defence after the interval. Big ask for the two young lads, Tyler Craig and Kris Brining but both had some good moments, none more so than Kris's try which needed a bit of scoring.
Keighley had all the MOM's - take your pick from Barnett, Duffy, Feather, Obst, Jones, Korkidas, Shickell and Marchy but hard to look beyond full back Craig Moss.
As someone said afterwards 'Men against boys'.
Gary Thornton was at the game watching.

Good start apart from Fordy blowing 6 points by taking the wrong option (not for the 1st time),
after that, not impressed, missed tackles all over the place, you would have to say 3 of the Cougars
tries were almost impossible to concede, but we managed it.

Too much sideways 'fancy' passing and just not doing the simple basics things when attacking.
Why do we make it so complicated, just hit the ball hard off short, sharp passes, forget all the
round the back stuff which is telegraphed every single time because its too bl**dy slow!!!

A few out there need to take a look at their performances & ask themselves if they really happy with
their displays, then watch the video & see how much effort & commitment John Davies puts in every game.

York's poor defence gave me tinnitus. Cheers...

Just watch the game on u tube, our defence was shocking and the amount of loose balls we just stood and watched as Keighley scored tries, just glad I didnt make it to the game.

John, it was brilliant last time I went there in 2005, as you know you fell in the pond on the crazy golf course, and there were loads of Knights fans making a weekend of it, good old days.

Been slumming it last week somewhere a little warmer, 30+. degrees, ice cold beer on tap, it was awful.
