Got me thinking the other day if Batley have a flag? We always seem a bit short of decoration when we travel away although we go in numbers never see many flags. Perhaps the club or Bissa should come up with one (waterproof woould be nice then I can wrap it around me when its peeing it down). Or run a competition as we did with the shirts! My old Bulldog car flags are getting a bit tatty too!

Aren't fan flags made by the fans rather than the clubs or associated bodies? I've seen some at the odd matches, but usually the big ones.
The competition should be who makes/gets the best one made rather than just designing them.
The idea should be put to the club in time to have flags everywhere for the playoffs. The winnner could get something simple like free family entry to a game or a free box for a match.

Assuming we finish in the top four of course.
Not so sure that will happen now.

Batley have had small printed flags before. probably the 2ft wide version ( Wembley Final size lol ).
but many years ago. I think they were handed out for free at Keighley, maybe in our "promotion year".....1994–95 ...
I can remember the Keighley fans behind us being very annoyed.......

Can if you want - but if you play at Sheffield, it's 99% certain to be at Don Valley.

The problem with large flags, are the ground safety regulations at each individual club, batley dont seem to have any regulations what so ever, so no problems at home, but other grounds especially the ones where football is also played, work on any flag over 10 foot by 8 foot require a fire safety certificate, (usually emailed/fax a copy upto a month beforehand, and also able to produce the original on the day).

This sounds like the work of keith Lardley - do big flags spontaneously combust then ?
