I predict a high-scoring game with a Rams win by 8 points.
Att: a Batleyesque 795

I cant agree with the lack of effort argument at Leigh BSJ. I thought they kept trying and the Leigh supporter next to me commented on this. Anyone watching Steve Crossley run 80 yards to try and stiop their centre / winger going in at the corner when we were already 20 behind would surely back me up?Oddly enough this game could define our season. The few fans who went to Leigh felt that some of the players weren't really interested so the approach and attitude of the team will be vital. Another disinterested lackadaisical performance will send out only one message.
I predict a high-scoring game with a Rams win by 8 points.

The problem was a lack of ideas against a much better team. As I posted earlier each and every time they got on our line Leigh ahd a plan that more or less involved any number or runners, giving any number of options and we couldnt defend against it. Why cant we do the same? Ask the Coach.

I think a large number of Ticket Holders will be thinking the same thing!!!!!
And I suppose the answer for many, including me, will depend upon who is in charge of the Team.

club needs money too keep going, but the supporters need a little more than they are getting now
personally WJ has had more talent than any other coach that stayed too long i.e kelly & fisher
yes he has done some good things (unbeaten season)...but
the forward steps are becoming fewer & fewer & the backward steps are fast becoming strides
for me...far enough..change needed,to give everybody a breathe of fresh air.

Now were getting down to the nitty gritty. This team should have been alot closer to the play offs than they are Lets get it right and the board need to be aware that if the same regime is in place for next season We will struggle to sell 300 tickets and this feed back comes from those that travel home and away.its like a choice between a rock & a hard place

WE WILL NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS !!!!!!!!!
were 7 points behind keighley (thats 3 games worth of points) by beating swinton,Hunslet & bonus point vs batley, that leaves us 2 games
keighley & sheffield...not much there im afraid in the way of points.
keighley still have swinton & dewsbury to play, points gained for definate there.
keighley's other games against leigh (twice) Fev & sheffield...nowt much there for them
so do the maths & you will see the playoff will not be reached !!
no doubt the coaching staff will say we can win our last 5 games(15 points)
you believe which one you want ?
wonder what odd a bookie would give on the Rams not hitting the play-offs ?
anybody know one

I can understand why supporters would feel that way BUT, critical as I am of the current regime, I think we are stuck with it, and TBH I'd sooner have a team with WJ in charge than no team at all. I will continue to go, continue to moan and continue to buy my ticket. Roll on next season when the bottom four has some significance.I think a large number of Ticket Holders will be thinking the same thing!!!!!

Yes you are right,i will still go to the games,if only two go down next season,we should stop up,but i would love it,if we are fighting for a place in the top sixI can understand why supporters would feel that way BUT, critical as I am of the current regime, I think we are stuck with it, and TBH I'd sooner have a team with WJ in charge than no team at all. I wouldnt mind Franny Cummins at the club, but now Bradford look like they maybe ok would he come and he wouldnt come cheap. If we do lose sunday though then i reckon we should try get a new coach in for next season before the end of the season so he can look at what hes got, whos in his plans and who aint and what needs adding and start the planning for next season straight away because defeat on sunday,we aint making no top 6!!

When the season started i thought you guys would sail the 6th spot in our league i thought 6th spot was yours nailed on but by the looks of it its going to be a very hard slog to get sixth spot now and you may even drop to 8th especially if swinton beat you guys at the weekend so at the start of the season im sure your BOD said to WJ top 6 at least this season and he has'nt delivered so the BOD may take it into their own hands and get rid or maybe they will give him the benefit of the doubt but IMO i think he as had plenty of time to establish you guys as a top 6 team and to be honest hes not cutting the mustard.I also know your funds may not be great but im sure a better coach with your team this year would of made the top 6.Any how on a funny note is Esders out of contract at the end of the season? We might as well add to our ex dewsbury players list

We have a problem in that we really don't appear to have a BOD. We have MS , as far as I can see, Who else is on the BOD?

We never were going to get into the play offs. The top five are way above the rest and that left the five of us at the bottom fighting for one spot. Once Keighley had done the Doggies at their place the wrting was on the wall. We have a few players that Fev might want; Aden, Crossley, Austin and most of all young Craven, but without better half backs we were always going to struggle. That said I dont think this season has been as bad as some would have us believe. Great wins at Swinton and home to Keighley and some good performances here and there, most notably at home to Fax.well ive just been rubbing my crystal b.alls

For me the most disappointing aspect of WJs tenure has been his inability to find or even try to find an answer to our half back problem and whilst I think Patch has had a solid season our lack of creativity is our real downfall. If WJ stays will we have enough to stay up next season? Thats the biggy....

It's not just WJ to be fair. As long as I've been watching Dewsbury we have gone from having decent half backs to having a serious deficit in equal measure. For all the good ones that you may recall there will be at least as many average ones that you have managed to forget.
Maybe, just maybe, there aren't enough good half backs to go around - and that includes SL.
