Every body knows to look good as a halfback you need your forwards to be where they should to be to give you options, unfortunately this doesn't happen often enough with this team put these two in in any one of the top sides and you would have a different opinium of that I'm certain

Happy with the win,but still got the feeling walking out of the game was how did we end up winning that win, which is a silly thing to say when we are 26 points up with 50 mins gone.Key moment of the game was when Crossley had to go off with his arm injury,it was clear to see when he came back on,he was playing with one arm,he was too brave for his own good, when he didn't want to come back off the pitch. Also why keep Flanagan off the pitch for so long, when it was clear to see he was making things happen when he had the ball.Loved his try celebrations when he scored, you can tell how bad he wants to play.

Flanagan was oustanding yesterday, but so was Matt Nicholson. As others have already said its hard to believe how close we came to losing a match we dominated for so long. Cant blame WJ for taking off either Matt Nicholson or Steve Crossley, but there was no sense at all in taking Georgey off. We were a different team with him on the pitch.
We owe the ref a drink too. Their "try" near the end would have been given 99 times out of 100 and we wouldnt have come back had that been allowed.
Any way it was a win and thats good news.
My only other gripe would be something I noticed first at Leigh a few weeks ago. Why do we continue to prefer the right hand side when throwing the ball out wide? In Austin and Aden we have as good as attacking pair as exists in our league, but those distributing the ball dont seem to know this. Several of us in the Southstand were moaning about this yesterday.

I agree and it's a question many people have asked all season. I guess that it's a bit like asking why does a tennis player always prefer his forehand - one hand tends to be dominant with most players and with us they find passing to their right easier/more accurate than passing to their left. It is something that should be addressed by training/coaching however. It's also worth noting that it was where their fastest winger was, so if the ball had gone to ground or been intercepted then a try would have been a certainty.
Maybe we don't do clever thinking this season.
Believe what you see, don't see what you believe.

well i thought today we saw a coaching masterstroke
how WJ knew he had to take georgey off to give him a rest so he could go full length of the field
and score the winning try...super league clubs surely will come flocking and steal this coach away from us
lets get him signed up in a instant
bravo to warren & the coaching staff
BTW what does Sarcasm mean ????

Any neutral who gained entry free of charge on Sunday (thanks to the 'Bring a Friend' voucher for season ticket holders) must have gone away wanting more of the same. For those of us supporting either of the two teams would have thought differently; we Dewsbury fans for the players nearly giving the game away and the Lions' supporters thinking if only...
Pleased we got the victory, even if my prediction was slightly out!

Legs, Dews, Legs, 'cos Wigan do!
