2 semi finals, Leeds v Wigan 12,860 and Wire v Hudds 9,473
never seen crowds as low, is it too easy to watch at home, too expensive to attend or just getting too boring seeing the same teams play out semi finals/ finals every year ?

they`ll be lucky to get 50000 at Wembley, which is sad, it used to be the big event I can remember going and there was always 98000+ crowds
the ticket sales must be bad as the bbc were advertising the ticketline, the final was usually sold out months before we knew who was playing
seems like the SL fans will only watch their own clubs now
When I want your opinion, I will remove the gaffer tape

I've no idea how old you are S.T.R but your memorys playing up a bit. There have only been two RL finals at Wembley with crowds over 98,000.

The last time Leeds and Warrington met at Wembley (2010) the crowd was over 85,000 so your estimate of under 50,000 seems a little pessimistic

Pretty much everything you've said Steve is probally the reason why,but the way RFL are running the game its just lost its spark, that final feeling as gone.....

I stand corrected Willie
just checked the final stats, my memory must be fading biggest crowd was 99801 lowest 60669 the average 79022 since I`ve been going
last years crowd was 78482 and that was the two best supported clubs in the league, I would be supprised if that was topped this year
I`ve been going since 1976 by the way

with 15000 club wembley seats, many of which weren't used, i'd say 78482 is a fairly full house.
