Larrat said the Mick Potter coaching situation had not been abandoned but put on the back burner until after the elections. Potter looking for a broad national remit it seems with a 5 year programme in view starting with the U16s.
The President also has lauded particularly the Elite 1 Presidents Philippe Duclaux at Avignon and Jean Guilhem at Carcassonne for the professional ways they've developed their clubs. There's talk of establishing a national centre for the game too up in Avignon. The ASC as an aside will be received at Gilbert Brutus Friday night at the Saints game. Double winning Elite 1 team and Juniors Cup winners plus the pom-pom troop joining up with Dragons lot pre-match, jaune et noir/ sang et or ensemble. Nice touch.
On the overseas players he once again champions the 4/5 player maximum per club.
Apparently they are looking now at taking the autumn international France-Wales to Lens FC up in the far north a match likely to be televised by new boys AJS (BeIN Sport) and possible free to air with France 4. Larrat also want the Dragons to consider more public tv exposure with the regional France 3 doing may be a couple of matches early season with afternoon kick offs.
With the Lens link up suggests they'll still talking about this pro Super 13 thing in 2014. But ends the interview with the the idea that getting Toulouse in SL early as possible will be beneficial to Catalans as at the moment too isolated. And concludes by supporting the ideal in the long term the game needing a third and fourth French club in this european competition.
