Congratulations on your promotion to the Championship. Watched the game on TV and I thought you played well although helped by some very poor defence from Haven. It should make for a great game when you meet Town in August - I wonder if they will bring that forward and show it on Premier Sports?

Please don't let them move it to the Thursday. My wife and I will be coming if it's on the Sunday. I've promised her a weekend in the Lakes the rugby will be an unexpected surprise for her ( I daren't tell her the real reason for the trip up )

I feared the worst tonight I expected a really tight game and that it could be decided in the final 10 minutes.scott kaighans kicking was spot on I think he only put 1 bad kick in all night other than that all the rest of his kicks split the winger and full back or created a try.barrows defence was spot on I could mention loads of players but all in all it was a team performance which showed at the end with the players celeberating and loads of back slapping great night great performance well done all.it seems there's more good news on the way as well and I reckon this will as mr nutter and pip always say the futures bright and will no doubt be getting brighter

Well done Barra.... Town will be joining you up there soon.......

Realling looking forward to the big matching at Derwent Park..... Let;s see if we can break the 2000 attendance mark on a match that should decide who finishes top.

Glad to see you back up for the sake of the fans who have had a shabby 12 months. What are the expectations for next year for your guys? Keep the team full of local lads and build year on year, or bring guys in within a reasonable budget and compete at the top end again? Looking forward for a first trip up either way.

That's a good question SamG, last year was without doubt the worst I have known, and I'm old enough to have seen many. We witnessed a group of over paid under achievers followed by the now well publicised horror story.

At the start of this season it was good just to see a team on the park, more pleasing was this being good local boys who are proud to wear the blue and white shirt. We have seen team spirt on the field, a responsible Board of Directors who have managed the club well, and within the rules, and credit must go to our coaching staff who have managed to get the very best from our lads, all in all there is a feel good factor at Craven Park, as shown by the great support seen at the club this season, who in Rugby League would have thought this possible a year ago.

Next year we start again on the learning curve, I hope we can retain all of the local boys and it goes with out saying some players must be brought in to add some strength to an already good squad. We started this season expecting nothing and look where we are, let's just hope this success can continue
