IVE BEEN INFORMED FROM SOMEONE VERY CLOSE TO THE CLUB THAT WIGAN ARE INERESTED IN TOAL AND WAKEFIELD ARE LOOKING AT CAMPBELL !!

Maybe Wigan are thinking a potential replacement for O Loughlin if they give toal some professional training. Don't think Wakefield would need Campbell, tim smith has been great. I doubt both are true anyway.

I'm sure that Toal will fit in well at Wigans feeder club South Wales next season if the rumour is true, as he isnt anywhere near SL level despite what some believe. If the lad has any sense he'll stay with the raiders for at least another 12 months to continue his development in the CC rather than the league of death which is CC1

I think its great that one of Barrows best players this season was local lad Dan Toal and one of Towns best players was local lad Brett Phillips, shows you dont have to scour the Lancs and Yorks teams for reserves to come and play.

If this is true and a board member has told MJC, then why has Dan not been signed on for another year... bad business if true!

Don't believe all the rumours...dan is an asset to barrow and perhaps needs another year at a good level but you have to remember he was an amateur last season. I would hate him to move up a level too soon, another 12 months at championship level would tell you what type of player he is and where he should be..

Holty may know exactly who he would like but surely it's up to the Board to agree individual terms and this takes time.

Obviously the rumour persists about Brett Carter being here next season, so presumably that means Ballard will switch to the wing if retained, who will our other winger be?? Please please please make it Haney - gives 100% week in week out and is solid

I don't think Ballard would go back to the wing now he's played full back for a year and had a good season... But it all depends on who hotly signs.

There is no doubt that ballard has been a great at fullback for us, but i think carter is much better at that position and is much stronger than ballard,we need to replace nico im affraid he`s just not as confident anymore and i`m sure he`ll be a lot worse in the higher league ,and i think the rest of the squad know this and he has become a weak link in the barrow chain and vary rarely sees the ball anymore, ballard in a danger man on the wing and thats what we need with him and haney on the wings barrow will be lethal

it doesn't matter who we have as wingers
the style of play we currently use and have used for most of this season never lets them see the ball
couldn't understand why ryan shaw (who scored 4 tries in a recent home game)
was stuck out on the wing against Rochdale away
he hardly touched the ball all game

I think ballard has done a good job in the full back position,i doubt it that brett carter is coming back to barrow, in his own words,"what have i got that would take me back to barrow"is his own words, but you never say never until it is in black and white.1 reason that might keep brett at workington town is he works for the rugby league in the community and is doing a very good at that, but there have been rumours about gerrard stack going to barrow has his girlfriend is apparently from ulverston(i think?) so he maybe one of darrens(holt) targets also, but it is the next season when we will all know who plays for who,it's not worth the worrying about players coming and going,it's the first match when we will find out how our team is going to fare in the championship, but i do know one thing, they need to be big buggers when you see the likes of fev, halifax, and sheffield has they have some big boys in their squads haha.I hope barrow, and haven along with town just survive the first season and then spring on from there.

Shaw placed on the wings for the must win game, REALLY :( The 50'000 question is why ?
