Superb game from both teams, Outstanding performances from Neild, Acton and Snyed. Led superbly by Brocky, and a great last second try under the sticks for TWH,converted to see a 30-30 full time scoreline.

How did Tangi Ropati go?
It was his first game back after having his jaw broken.

Played well, scored a good try. both teams played some great hard hitting rugby in muddy conditions. Rovers No11, a coloured chap was outstanding, ran hard at the Oldham line and we tackled him well. The No10, a Tonks lookalike was superb for the rovers.
It was a fantastic game for this level of RL. The ref was a bit confusing at times with his decisions, but like the players , is an amatuer and learning the ropes.
Hope we get to play you at PO Rd in the final when we will be defending our title. Should be a great game.

A very well done to all the lads last night. It was a cracking match (as I forecast on another thread), and it was a joy to watch 2 such competitive sides playing such a good quality rugby allbeit on a heavy pitch. Up against a Featherstone side who had won every previous match this season and had averaged 50 points per game, the Oldham side had so much self-belief and enthusiasm to push right to the end and get a well deserved draw. What a treat it was.
