You watch the amatuer game around this area rick do you see anyone who you think could step up to the pro game mate, i know we signed gaz davies but not sure whats happened to him, Harding seems to be scoring at milford and Cunny and Bravo seem head and shoulders above anyone else at the Warriors, is no one coming through at Oulton or Queens or Old Boys?

hunslet should employ a part time scout mate ,pick the games where all the better players are .You watch the amatuer game around this area rick do you see anyone who you think could step up to the pro game mate, i know we signed gaz davies but not sure whats happened to him, Harding seems to be scoring at milford and Cunny and Bravo seem head and shoulders above anyone else at the Warriors, is no one coming through at Oulton or Queens or Old Boys?

The Coaching Structure ... And indeed the playing structure needs a complete overhaul.
The standard of rugby is low and the effort is not good enough.
There are many people who speak sense both on and off forum who are not happy with what is being served up and the actual product is driving people away.
There are two sides to the fence :-
1.The HIST and friends who have either backed off this forum or are continually protecting the scenario.
2. The realist who want to see a proud Hunslet team - win or lose - but even stand a chance of winning any and every game. I dare say a lot of these have now stopped attending.
Fans, sponsors and occasional supporters are turning away fast and the writing is on the wall for the future.
The club needs to take a big look at this element and not be frightened to make decisions for the future of the club.
This forum is about opinion and debate and has lost it's emphasis by hounding and ganging up. Maybe it's synonymous of the nature of the club at the moment ??

I remember Paul Dailey once saying that the best scout is a ref, because he see's the stand out players and then used to tip paul off who they were, but i still think that a few amateurs could step up,all the stars of today have all started somewhere.......You watch the amatuer game around this area rick do you see anyone who you think could step up to the pro game mate, i know we signed gaz davies but not sure whats happened to him, Harding seems to be scoring at milford and Cunny and Bravo seem head and shoulders above anyone else at the Warriors, is no one coming through at Oulton or Queens or Old Boys?
