Heard last night that one of the few remaining good players at the jam has signed for Town. Anyone else hearing things?
It would be a return to a former club for him if he has (wink wink)

Players can't sign until the end of the season. Unless haven have agreed to release him. So I doubt it.

Heard that haven are cash strapped again, so are looking to off load costs

Haven have only got 2 games left of 700 crowds which ain't going to sustain the runing of a rugby club till next February.
I'm surprised they think they can afford all the recent signings, and the extra expense of all the travellers.
If they do get promoted there wil be no cash for signings for next year and they'll end up bottom by a long way.

I'll be honest , out of there current squad I would take Rooney and I'm not sure he will even make it in the league above. As for that I wouldn't take any. I think sice is a good player but not someone who would take us to another level. If I was the board I would go out of my way to get Scott mcavoy signed for next year, he is top quality and him and dan Rooney would makes very impressive pair of centres. I would also put jase mossop on the opposite to ell miller, he had his best game in a town shirt at south wales whilst playing on the wing.

No, I dont think we do. I would rather have Matty with Olstrum able to fill in when injured than Sice.

Yes Olstrum has the makings in the offseason of being a real good hooker next year. Dynamic backup to Matty , I'll take those two.

I wouldn't have Sicey back... OK he can be a game winner but his overall game is nowhere near as good as Matty's. We'd be better off having a young, up and coming number 9 as Matty's back up.
