Good move for Smith. Good for Leeds that he is off their wage bill. Everone is happy.

Not been the same since his return from union, best thing all round.
Leeds Rhinos,STILL the only Grand Final winning club NOT to have cheated the salary cap.WCC Champions 2012.

Another that tried to grab the union dollar and came back half the player.

I can only think of Harris and Raynor that went to union, came back and managed international honours.

Lee Smith and Paul Sykes as the centre partnership? Skillful in attack but iffy in defence.

And certainly in the case of Harris those international honours were entirely undeserved.

I must admit I don't get this.

He was shizzle before he went.

He certainly wasn't a world beater but he was better before he went to union.

He has been getting progessively worse since his arrival at Leeds at the same time his waistline has been increasing. I am not sure how warming the bench for a struggling RU reserve side in the off season is going to affect his abilities. His fall off in form has occured at Leeds whilst his waistline was increasing. So the club coaching staff and the player are at fault.

I remember 2007 around mid season,he must have been a naughty boy and Tony Smith the disciplnarian made him water carrier among other things, and 3 SL rings and a wcc medal later he was a very good squad player u to him going to RU,and he was only there a short time too.I thought after last off season he came back in qiute good shape, but got injured early season, from what I am told.
but you and I weve been through that and this is not our fate.
So let us so let us not talk falsely now.
The hour is getting late
FROM 2004,TO DO WHAT THIS CLUB HAS DONE,IF THATS NOT GREATNESSTHEN i DONT KNOW WHAT IS.

Even worse when he came back. I'd have to give you that.

Wasn't he the centre to Tom Briscoe in an England/GB side a few year's back? I seem to remember Australia continually slinging the ball out left and Briscoe ending up with Greg Inglis and the Oz winger charging at him with Lee Smith performing an amazing disappearing act.

It means, Lee Smith was awsome enough to win the Harry Sunderland Trophy back in 2008, so he cannot possibly be mediocre now. Obviously.
