Gaz,

I'd like to do a few songs myself, perhaps I can duet with Holty.
Heard he's pretty good at Karaoke.

YMCA? :)

Sorry mate but not everyone gets the NWEM or looks at it on the net ? Just a post (or poster) on here may help ? We could print a few off and put them up around the town ?

I will contact Andy Gaffney to run some more off. If you could go down to the ground or to the shop to pick them up, i will make sure they are there.

I'm not wishing to put a damper on anything but just a word of warning. It should be remembered that a 'Craven Fest' was held in 2005 as a way of utilizing the ground and making money for the Club. A number of people put a lot of effort into planning and organising the event but at the end of the day it lost quite a bit of money.

The music fest is supporting the alicesescapes charity. It is nothing like the event some 7 years ago. All the directors are supporting the event. And the bands are all supporting the charity. To which we can not thank them enough. So let's get behind the barrow raiders music fest and make it a day/night to remember. Selling advance tickets are a must so it can give us an idea of numbers. Also another 2 artists may be playing so that's 9 of the best bands / solo artists there will be family tickets soon 2 adults + 2kids under 16 £12. Remember its about supporting a good cause and its all about the music

Fantastic job Andy and all that have helped you. Tickets will be on sale this week for people in Dalton from Kaymas Electrical Engineering Ltd on Market St Dalton (also trying to get them in a couple of popular dalton pubs). I also believe they can be bought from Ross Estate agents in Ulverston. I'm sure Andy will give a breakdown of where else you can buy tickets.

Well done mate and I hope it is a great success after all the effort you have put in.

Andy have you sold this to the movers and shakers in the Furness music scene ?

If the answer is Yes, You will IMO enjoy a good turn out and successful event, if the answer is no then again IMO you may well struggle a little, I hope its a great success and possably lead to an annual event raising money jointly for the Club & Music Scene.

Just asking & hoping.
