Got my little envelope from the club today enclosing the season ticket forms for 2013.
Have any others got theirs? If so, what are YOUR thoughts concerning the 'package' and its 'cost'?
I know what MY thoughts are on the subject.

13 CC games. Replica away shirt, 2 tri-nations games (+transport to the final). SL Grand Final ticket.
Not too bad, prices are going up for individual games anyway, so not bad really. 60 quid more than this seasons but includes 3 more games and the SL GF ticket. If you did it this season, I see no reason not to do it next (if I've included everything).
I'll be renewing.

Me too Bryce.
Pretty much the same as last year except 3 more games and the Super League Grand Final instead of an England shirt. Not bad really

Don't think you can grumble at the early bird packages. Especially as you cam pay on a monthly basis. Very good value in my opinion.

Is there a price for just a plain old season ticket? No extras?

No idea Mark, but I think it would be beneficial if they offered that as well. A lot of people won't be bothered with the England games and the SL GF.

Yeh, that's all I want really, just a basic old fashioned Lions season ticket. I do NOT want to attend a SL 'Grand Final' full stop. To begin with, why do we have to call it 'Grand Final'. Can't it be just the'Championship Final' like it used to be, do we have to EVERYTHING the bl**dy Aussies do? Have we no pride in our own very British RL culture? It's one of my pet hates with the 21st century game in the UK.
Swinton RLFC season ticket - a trip down Memory Lane. I got my first season ticket way back just before the start of the 1958-59 season at Station Road. My Dad got it for me for my 12th birthday in late July (yes I'm almost 66). It was very low-tech, no micro chip, mid-20th century 'technology' and cost the princely sum of 7/6. 7 shillings and 6d (old pence) = 37½p.

Yes all I want is a season ticket ( as I have now) - hopefully the club will advise accordingly

This is only the 'Early Bird' special (note the word 'Early'), they will probably annouce the normal season tickets in due course as they did last year.

I must admit I missed the normal season ticket release last year and have paid weekly. Thats why I asked my earlier question

I think it would be a good idea to include transport with the Grand FInal ticket so us Swinton fans could all be sat together and have a good day out as the GF will be a few days after my 50th!

Born 1962 eh? Were you at Central Park as a 7-year old when we won the Lancashire Cup 11-2 against Leigh?

Unfortunately not Keith however the Lions took the cup to all the schools in Swinton and Pendlebury and it was when my class was summoned to the head mistresses office at Grosvenor Road Infants to see the trophy that my love affair with the Lions began!
