ok we still got hammered but a vast improvement from last week, the team played some decent rugby at times scoring 4 tries and broke the line a few times more.Physically we were dominated by the Halifax pack who made 10-15 yards every drive where we struggled to make a couple of yards BUT apart from a bad 10 min spell in the 1st half where it went from 6-12 to 6-30 in the space of 10 mins we competed pretty well.Well done to the players today, they could have folded completely in the 2nd half but stuck to it and almost won it on points scored.

Spot on KOL , A big thanks to Yates today he was awesome, and Marchy , and our no2 winger, he had a great game.We put plenty of effort in , as a team , and that's all we ask. I did think the Halifax supporters were great today, and a credit to our game.

agree with everything that's been said, and it's a long time since we scored 4 tries, and against a top side.
For once I came away from a game not feeling embarressed.

Where is Hawkwindbag ??
Our front row was excellent with Luke Haigh again causing all kinds of problems !!
Again we played some sharp, fast yards, good back up kind of rugby and caused a lot of problems including the try of the match - the last one !
Our defence and lack of character still leaves a lot to be desired but we almost won the second half.

Been on holiday for the last fortnight in the land of our cheese-eating surrender-monkey neighbours ... glad to know I've been missed !!
Looking quickly through the forum, it appears I missed out on a half-decent performance against Halifax and an interesting musical debate
But the best news on here is the resignings of Grimshaw and Oakes ... well done all !!
