Wonder why he was there? There was definitely no car boot sale on.
I reckon if he is to replace WJ, he would be a really good appointment for you lot.

Wouldnt be too bad an appointment though if it was to happen, id imagine he will want a headcoach role one day as superleague aint the most reliant on offering headcoach roles to british coaches.
It is funny though alot of clubs are intalks or now starting to resign players up for next season yet how do we do this if we dont know who our coach is next season? If we are to have a new coach next season i think the club should announce it with at worst afew games to go so the new coach can see who he wants to try retain and who he wants to bring in ect, should we be getting a new coach that is. As we all know alot of rumours dont come true...

It isn't funny - I think we all know the answer.

How many championship clubs have announced that they plan to replace their coach next season?
This is the time for panicking, ably assisted by "agents" who will sow seeds of doubt and uncertainty hoping to get their players placed before they reality dawns that their won't be as much money around next year as this.
If FC were available on the club's terms then it might well be a very good move but let's give the present mob a chance to finish off the season first eh?

Rumours of this kind come and go and hardly ever bear fruit, but I can't help thinking that it would be an interesting and exciting development if it were true. It should certainly lead to a different approach to the players and the game we play than the one we have become used to in recent seasons.
Oh how I wish.....

We need to sort out who will be the coach for 2013 as soon as possible,i hate to say this, but the Bulldogs are showing us how a club should be run like, professional, already resigning players for next season.By the time things are sorted,we most likely will have lost our best players by then.Time to get fingers out and get things moving.
so true!

Why would a Batley fan have their telescope trained on Tetleys stadium all the time?
Buford, you're a troll.
Hardly trolling Simon, just relaying something id heard that may have been of interest - like Andyram says, we bulldogs are showing you the way forward.
Nice to see you still hold me in such high regard.

A "my mate down the pub says....." story.
You know the majority of people who post on here would actually welcome this kind of development, so you know what you're up to. If this turns out to be true then I will apologise. If it is as I suspect conjecture designed to wind folks up, then I'm right.
Also I have no idea who you are, therefore I have no opinion on your integrity only on what I read in your posts.

Im just stating what ive been told, by a Dewsbury fan no less (gasp)
As a Batley fan, I hope WJ stays in the job, hes doing a great job of leading your boys into oblivion and id hate someone like Cummins to come in, as you may end up a force in the division (god forbid)

That makes no sense Simon - youve clearly only read what you want to read, as per the norm - ironically we are back to the original point i made when you hijacked the thread.
Id say you were more of a troll for derailing the thread.
Might need a canine psychologist to get to the bottom of your issues never mind a human one.
