Out for 5/6 weeks with broken collar bone. End of any lingering play-off hopes?

To be fair to WJ. Crossley broke his collar bone before he came off. He was sat at the side holding it and he was the one who volunteered to go back on to the field to try and rescue the points, which we did.

Don't see how WJ can be held responsible for this. but, fair play to Crossley a huge effort from him. Hope it's not the last we see of him in the red, amber & black.

yeah we are !!!!

if he hadnt had made cock up after cock up with subs..ie mr flanagan
steve wouldnt have had to go back on..regardless of if he volunteered or not
we was over 20 points clear in the game, but mr tinkerman had too p.iss about in his usual inept fashion

directly WJ didnt break steves collar bone....but thru actions could have made the injury worse, was quite clear steve was badly injured
when coming back on.

FOR ME CROSSLEY ALREADY HAS PLAYER OF THE SEASON IN THE BAG !!!!

I wish you'd come down off the fence about Warren, Coolie.

Do you rate him or not?

I spoke to Steve at the Tuesday night training session about his shoulder and he told me that his collar bone fracture had only been confirmed on the Monday after several scans. His injury was not fully apparent to him during the match and been a hard nut he insisted on been put back into the game himself which is highly commendable. He is rather gutted about having to take time out while it heals but intends to use the time to maintain his fitness levels and to be back on the pitch as soon as humanly possible. I hope you all can now share my feelings in wishing him a speedy full recovery.

I agree that Warren did not cause the collarbone injury, but he should not have let him go back on whether he volunteered or not. Yes, it was great gesture by Steve but we cannot afford to make an injury worse on our only 'full size' forward. Saying that i know collar bone injuries do take a few weeks to heal as a lot of my mates used to break them falling off mountain bikes back in the day. But, putting him back on the field may have caused a bigger fracture and a longer lay off.

I've heard it a done deal for Steve Crossley and James Craven are going to Feth next season. Should we be surprised.

Also Bossy and March brothers to Thornhill so could be some bloodshed!!

Judging by the interview with Tom Sc is committee3d to the club this season then will see what the future holds.

Looks like he'll move on I reckon.

Paul March is the new Keighley coach and David could follow him.
