HUNSLET Hawks have called off their under-18s game against Oldham at Whitebank tomorrow (Sat) because they can't raise a team.

Oldham chairman Chris Hamilton and under-18s coach Phil Costin have expressed their disappointment.

Said Hamilton: "They've only got 11 available players because of holidays, but you've got to plan ahead and work something out. We are not happy."

Costin added: "We've eight unavailable - that's the nature of the beast in school holidays --- but we pulled out all the stops to muster 17.

"We made a commitment at the start of the season to fulfil all fixtures, and we've stuck to it."
