South Wales Hornets 14 -v- 44 St Albans Centurions
Warrington Wizards 10 -v- 40 Hudds Underbank

Tomorrow
Bramley -v- Bristol Sonics
Coventry Bearls -v- Hemel Stags

Nottingham v Kippax is shown as 'postponed', so that does sound like they will play it sometime.

Not true, I know of two that played for Leicester.

I meant neither club had a first team game. I expect Leicester had more first team players than Nottingham.

SW League Latest.....
North Devon Raiders 26, Devon Sharks 22

With Exmouth unlikely to play the Centurions will be awarded a 24-0 win.
Plymouth would then need to beat Raiders by 7 (or 6 if they win by scoring more than 61 points or more).

Next Saturday's games...
Plymouth Titans v North Devon Raiders at Stonehouse
Exeter Centurions v Exmouth Saints at Flowerpots, Exeter.

Coventry Bears 38-8 Hemel Stags

Best performance I've seen from us this year. We're back at full strength with our injured players returned.

Bramley 22-28 Bristol.

Two great results that opens up the middle of the table. Hemel still at the top but Underbank only 2 points behind and one game in hand. Then teams 5th to 8th, only three points difference.
Four weeks left and three teams have 7 games left to play, not sure how they will manage that.

Thats some result from your lot after Hemel beat last years Champions Underbank week before.
Will that be the push you need for CC1 selection.

You must be quite chuffed with how North Devon have gone this year.
Didn't you struggle initially.
Are you still at Barnstaple.

I get a feel that the Western set up is treading water a bit.
Lost Dorset and that team who played for some years at Taunton.
No sign of anything brewing across the Tamar in Cornwall.

Not sure what's happening there but doubt it will make much difference. The advantage Hemel have over us is their own ground, clubhouse and lottery.

Somerset are still going in West of England. But yeah a shame they lost South Dorset and Exmouth are looking shaky. Usually if leagues are too reliant on RU they will eventually struggle. South Wales is struggling this year

Have the RFL cut back on their attention to these areas this season?

Its interesting you mention a lottery. Is that something your club could look at. Years ago lotteries played a huge role at professional clubs. I think Barrow had one of the best. Raised one year (mid 1960s) £4,000 and with the proceeds recruited players like Keith Jarrett from union. The Chemics had something similar and my folks contributed 20p a week for years. The club had volunteers all over town in different neighbourhoods.

Not sure how much attention they ever gave to the South West. But if you have limited resources it is sensible not to invest too high a percentage of them in getting RU players to play 8 games a year.

If one could get off the ground would be beneficial. The difficulty is is it better for an ambitious club to get into Championship 1 ASAP while the RFL are pushing expansion or is it better to spend a couple of years building up in the NCL first? Not necessarily sure I know the answer.
