This puts a real damper on what's left of the season and I can only hope that we finish it with some pride. The trips to London and Town could be very long and potentially very painful.
Perhaps we now might hear officially what our coach intends to do. Next season will not be easy financially or on the field. We shall need a very dedicated and determined team/coaching set up to survive. Let's start rebuilding now I say.
A dreadful result.

3 Hornets players broke down injured during the second half and i feel that seem to affect our go forward.
Rooney came into his own, back peddaling Wayne with some basic but effective kicks. This is why Haven have got him on board, like Cook at Donny these lads can win you games, i would have liked to have seen us put him under a little more pressure, but maybe he made it look easy?
I thought the ref in general did okay, yeah he couldnt spot an offside right under his nose, but he was the same for us, our line was like a dogs back leg at times. If anything i think his touch judges didnt help him at all to day. He looked over several times at each one for help on less clear cut issues and got nothing from them.
Haven appear to have the easier of the run in, but who knows, we have to remain focused and win all our games, thats all we can do.
As for the future, yes personally i would like to hear a statement on the coaches future sooner rather than later. I would hate to have another pre-season of having no re-signs and building again. Stanky could do the club a favour by at least speaking to the board about his plans, going forward. If Stanky does stay is he the man to kick us on?
I understand no players have been spoken to about next year, which says alot and if Stanky is to go maybe recruit a coach before the end of the season, someone who can assess the strength of each player and decide who he wants and who can move on. Just an idea?
Hopefully my post are viewed as positive, and I cannot be held responsible for causing any offence to anyone associated with this message board

come on hornet give haven some credit you had the 1st half 2nd we bossed it we much better 2nd half rooney is class. i fear for you now but good luck with the rest of the season and next season. with 4 games left we have 3 at home and much easier run in we will get the 4th spot. the haven fans totally outsung you hornets on sunday and were a credit to our club. hope to see you back at haven soon.Devastated, spoiled out off the game in the first half and not in it in the second half.Credit to the Haven coach he worked out how to stop us playing with the slowing down of the play the ball and getting away with being off side, they really spoilt our chances of playing any rugby league and then we let Rooney kick us out of the game.
Need a win next week against an in form London Skolars side, but i will be there, hopefully a few more Hornets can get down.

Unfortuneatly because of the strucure at Hornets we don't have the finance to attract experienced ex super league players, and internationals such as these.
All the top four have recruited experience in vital positions, mainly at half-back (Whitehaven as stated, Donny with Paul Cooke, Workington with Lupton/Thackery Barrow with Holt) and it was always going to be a tall order to match them.
But all is not lost. We have played to the best of our ability so now is the time to to regroup, and put together a side to gain promotion in 2013.
Onward Hornets Onward.

Why ask me about ways to raise money?
I have no idea who is going to raise the cash, it's the responsibllity of the board I would have thought.
I was just stating the obvious, that money talks and in these cases resulted in promotion.
Maybe you have a scheme to fund Hornets. If you have the board would no doubt be very interested.

Maybe we could take a loan out with theRFL secured against our share of Spotland and not pay the tax man to raise cash.
Here we go again PD - how long are you going to refer back to this? Face up to the current situation and take the responsibility instead of looking for others to blame, this club started with a clean slate
Its thanks to the loan that you mention we are still playing at Spotland today
