Firstly let me say that the best team won, and as much as it hurts, congratulations to Halifax, but this idiot needs to be taught how professional rugby players should behave.
I kept my gob shut after our loss in the semi final (I didn't want it sounding like sour grapes) but he is an embarrassment to Halifax.
Once again tonight he nearly caused a riot with his antics. It takes a Greg man to be gracious in defeat, IMHO it takes a bigger man to be gracious in victory, and in my opinion he spoiled a good day, when it seemed bridges were being built

I saw him spit and his antics at the end was very disappointing with the programme. But the iceing on the cake is the fax fans kicking the lagoon bus.

The actions of Halifax were disgraceful today. Especially Barlow.

There are idiots in both sets of fans like we've all found out today and in the past unfortunately. If what you're saying about Barlow is true then shame on him and he'll no doubt be punished one way or another.

Too true!
But I doubt Barlow will even get called before a committee.

Totally agree. Had a fan of either side been seen by a steward spitting at any player they would (rightly) have been removed from the ground. Why should a player who spits at fans be treated any different? I hope the incident can be seen from the TV footage and dealt with by the powers that be at Red Hall. I have to say I won't be holding my breath!!

I thought Barlow was outstanding today, pity he showed himself up at the end. Is he out of contract by any chance.

He is at the end of the year, although unless it was much more money the only place I can see him going is into SL. I seriously doubt he would swap to any other championship club, although as put above money talks!.

A lot of fax fans said the same about dom maloney. Money foes indeed talk

He's not one to worry about contracts! Interesting to hear about his behaviour, he lost the plot at Bramall Lane last season, giving the fans a lovely salute and wanting to take everyone on!
why dont they just give andy farrell his medal now?- ray french before the challenge cup final 1998

It really is a shame because - as hard is that might be to believe - his behaviour this season has been hugely improved on previous seasons. Ie - His reaction to Dickens high shot was probably the angriest I've seen him this year. (Can't comment on the end because I genuinely didn't/couldn't see it.)

It wasn't a pretty sight Dare. True he was provoked by the disappointed Fev fans, but he should be able to rise above that. Allied to the spitting incident in the first half, he did not do himself any favours yesterday.

Sam Barlow is a top bloke. Bit of a hothead, perhaps but he chipped into the Tangi fund, didn't he ?
