At the risk of getting shouted at, at posting a non Rugby League topic, Well she did play fullback for Rochdale schools as an opener for a Rugby League final at Wembley.
Sophie Cox from Rochdale lost her Judo contest in the first round, against the silver medal winner from four years ago, by a very narrow margin.
She came out of 4 years retirement for another go.

I carn't remember to many sports people from Rochdale who have been in the Olympics.
Sophie, Kevin Taylor in Boxing and Clive Rushton in Swimming.

Seems there has been quite a few, from the replys i have had on Dale MB.
How could i have missed Craig Dawson, ex Dale player in the footie team.
