agreed steve the rhinos second best in all departments time for new blood , brent webb is a disgrace, the sooner hes gone the betteryeh right, a support player that when he plays they can beat Wigan in a semi final, when hes out they gat hammered at Wakey. He makes them tick, simple as that.

Stevie ward did more in that game last night than Maguire has in 2 seasons. I don't rate him sorry.

come on daz, he has got them out of the brown stuff so many times in the last few seasons. His try scoring record is 2nd to none, id actually have him in the same catogary as Schofield, Harris , Holmes and Shoebottom when it comes to legendary whinos stand offs.Lewis Jones was before my time but Maguire is just as important to that team as they were, without him they struggle big time.I also think this Stevie Ward is the next heir apparant and gonna be a real great player.

He did a better job than Maguire ever did Steve,if he's that good why dose'nt he get picked now, just shows how bad Super League is when people rate him,NRL would find him out........mate, shaun edwards NEVER did it against the aussies

How good did tansey and Mathers think they were until they gave NRL ago,i know injuries played a part but if you think Super League is better than NRL you need to go to specsavers Mrbus......wish people would get over the myth that the NRL is some magic place full of gods.

I don't think superleague is better overall, but I've no doubt the top 4/5 clubs over here would do well there. How good did tansey and Mathers think they were until they gave NRL ago,i know injuries played a part but if you think Super League is better than NRL you need to go to specsavers Mrbus......
As for the players you've talked about, mathers had 2 serious knee injuries and has never been the same player since. Tansey played 3/4 of the games and didn't look out of place at all, if anything he was pretty much Sydney's best player in all the games he played.
There is no doubt that the aussies have a bigger pool of good players, but there is also a lot of 'average' blokes playing week in week out.

id agree with Mrbus here, our top 4/5 clubs would live with their comp, however the likes of salford ,cas, london would get butchered. The reason their comp is stronger is because its a southern hemisphere league with a steady influx of south sea islanders plus kiwis to go with the aussies.

steve some of the country clubs down there would compete in our super league and murder our championship clubs ,its a conveyer belt of talentid agree with Mrbus here, our top 4/5 clubs would live with their comp, however the likes of salford ,cas, london would get butchered. The reason their comp is stronger is because its a southern hemisphere league with a steady influx of south sea islanders plus kiwis to go with the aussies.

Yeh i agree with some of them comments Mrbus but the influx of oversea players is starving us of young talent, could you see the NRL taken are 30plus players like we do with theirs, and there top 4/5 clubs don't get a rest with the lower teams like are teams do.......I don't think superleague is better overall, but I've no doubt the top 4/5 clubs over here would do well there.
