Chester marathon for me today. Best organised race I've ever done - highly recommended if anyone feels daft enough to do one. They also have a "metric" version - 26.2km.

Well done! I ran a Half marathon PB on the Tissington Trail on Saturday - 1.45.08

That means I've PB'd at every regular racing distance between 5K and Marathon in 2015; 5K, 5 miles, 10K, 10 miles, Half marathon, 30K, 20 miles and Marathon.

North Derbyshire Chargers - join the stampede

Running targets in 2015 - PB at all distances, complete first Marathon, run more than 1000 total miles.

I did an off road triathlon yesterday on Tameside.  I've not been too hot on the training for it due to work but is was tough, very tough.  Harder than previous road triathlons and half marathons I've done.  But having said that, it was good fun and would recommend it to anyone.  For anyone in the area looking to get into it there is a very short one in Buxton in a couple of weeks, 200m swim, 10k bike and only 3k run.  Get involved, it should be great fun.

That is just awesome.

I have a 1 mile and 10 mile PB to show for this year, possibly not unrelated the fact that I'd only run these distances once before (and the previous 10M race was a couple of hours after getting back from an overnight flight from India.) Still, there's a couple of months to go yet.
