apparently if this bid is successful bratford will be owned by all the other SL clubs. What a pity none of the t***s wanted to do that when Town were struggling in SL eh? Along with all the other teams that tried and failed to dtay in SL. Just shows to me what a closed shop shower of s**t SL is now. I hope they succeed, it'll give me the perfect reason to cancel sky sports and have nothing to do with SL unless Town or a Cumbria team are in it

Disgusting if it happens. A kick in the teeth of any club that has ever had financial problems. Sadly though it doesnt suprise me.

If an individual can't have an interest in more than one club, how can clubs have an interest in other clubs?!

Though I did hear we were going to invest 50p and buy Whitehaven to be our feeder club next season

It shows that the sport is run by utter idiots. No wonder they turned down the other bids if they wanted to buy them themselves. In no other sport would this ever even be considered. Why didn't they buy crusaders last year? Super league is getting worse every year. The quality seems to be dropping with every year that passes.

I actually think it makes sense, they are buying the club as caretakers basically meaning more time can be spent on finding the right buyer. Its a different situation to any other that has happened and needs to be looked at like that. The only thing is the SLE and RFL are now setting a precedent, will they continue to do this?

The problem everyone has is, there only doing it because it's one of the so called big names. If it was a town, barrow,Oldham,Rochdale etc then they would just be left to rot and go out of business. Did the offer Blackpool any help? Nope. The rfl is a complete and utter shambles, the tried to copy the aussies and failed badly, it just shows how badly it is run when they can off we Bradford a grade b license 6 months ago, then this happens. How can there finances have ever been properly checked. They put crusaders up there, for them to move grounds and cities a year later, them completely drop out altogether. It shows in our division, yes it's a good thing making the championship bigger, but there basically killing off the other teams that don't make the cut. Traditional clubs like Rochdale and Oldham are going to be left to die out in the bottom division playing (no disrespect) but teams that are no better than most amateur clubs. Town, whitehaven and donny had to invest big this year, and what would of happened if we hadn't made the top 4? I doubt we would be able to watch the club we love next season.
