Adam signed from the Leyland amateur club near Preston after joining the scholarship that year and competing well in the Foundation games played. A tough hard running prop he came up against injury problems in season’s 2009 & 2010 but has put that all behind him and after an excellent season last year gaining player of the year awards he has gone full time with the 1st team squad in 2012. So far this season he certainly putting pressure on the 1st team after consistently putting in top quality performances..

No, it's because we have loadsamoney, apparently!!!!!!
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Good half and centre would be nice for an all out onslaught on the title. Couple of players in key positions to lift us and we'd be hard to take on late on in the season.
That doesn't look likely now DavidM with the deadline being close of business this Friday. We look like being a bit thin on the ground again for the play-offs!!
