Personally I think it's a great move. Should raise a little awareness about the club.
Does anyone know if the club benefitted financially from this?

Bet you was all a bit disappointed. After all it was supposed to have been a major announcement. I know a few of you lads expected more.
If the figure people were saying the club got for the deal is to be believed, it is a major announcement.

It was a massive announcement! Can't be a bad thing in my eyes.

Some fairly idiotic comments on this subject last night, and on Facebook. A company has paid to advertise their brand at our stadium, basically. No-ones saying that you can't refer to Mount Pleasant as 'Mount Pleasant'. It's not like the bods at loverugbyleague.com will be sending their covert secret police round to your house to tie you to your armchair and pump electricity through your nipples if you use the words 'Mount Pleasant' to describe our ground, is it? (although some fans may enjoy this masochistic punishments, I just don't know)
Harold,s right , it will always be THE MOUNT to me , but it has a shiny modern name as well now , and if the new name means we can improve the mount , even better , All I know is I LOVE RUGBY LEAGUE at MOUNT PLEASANT
