Good news, but I wonder if this means we wont be seeing Dave Petersen back with town this season?

Can't see dave returning, impressed on Sunday. Although if town get through to the playoffs final, surely he will be available as hull kr will be out by then.

Young Jack's in the squad ! Great for the lad , fully deserved reward for all his efforts. Good to get youth and enthusiasm in , shaking our pack up a bit aren't we ?

Its great that we have a board thats so proactive, it was obvious after the Doncaster game that we were lacking in the pack for the run in and our BOD go out and bring 2 young hungry lads in. We have easily one of the best boards in RL at the moment and the coaches must love having them.

Couldn't agree more. They deserve more supporters coming through the turnstiles and that's where we can do our bit getting some of those ex-fans back in the fold. Better quality games next season plus 6 derby matches, what more do we want?
I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Well said , heartland club in terms of rugby league with the mass amateur strength and interest in the game , we've got to be looking at 1000 + at least next year . Better sides to watch , no doubt a strengthened competitive town side to support , this area should be backing the lads , and in doing so we're backing the board to take us from strength to strength . If we're not interested then we cant complain at ending back at square one . The BOD and coaches are doing their all , the stay away fans need to come to the party...
