Massive well done to every player who donned a knights shirt tonight.
Pride, passion, guts determination and team work, ok we got beat but went home very happy with our performance.
Big well done to the under 18s who played tonight, there our future so we need to look after them.
Pity we had a dimwit in the middle again, there first try, he was in touch and there last one that Briggs scored would be interesting to see that one.
As usual fev fans turned up in numbers, and I spoke to a few and had a good crack with them, but you've guessed it there's always one, a guy in the pop stand who offered any knights fan the first punch, di.k head.

Ian
Fully agree, lads played out of their skins tonight, couldn't fault any of them at all, some big hits both ways, Fev just had too much size, pace and quality as we expected but our lads never gave in and the young lads coming into the side really showed up well. Don't think the result would ever have been in doubt but it's about how the Knights gave it a real go that was pleasing. Bushy, Aldous(as always), Jack Lee all played exceptional and Thormans kicking was probably the best he's shown for the Knights.
Fev fans were great supporters, (remember when we used to take crowds like that to away games) so thanks for swelling the coffers we need every penny, if it had been a Sunday game we'd have got even more and we might have been able to see properly, those floodlights really are an embarrassment, along with the 'Norman Collier' tannoy.
For Fev, thought Finn got a bit above himself at times and bombed a couple of chances to open us up, thought their forwards are very strong and also their No.16 looks a very very good prospect.

Agree with you there Andy , think it was Nathan Chappell , always been a big fan of Tommy Saxton but think we kept him , bostock & to a certain extent tangi ropati , but let Finn , Kaye & Briggs do too much running , as for that 50 odd yr old superhero what a prick , he was only being lippy cos he had Bubba Fat as a bodyguard !

I have explained the problems with the radio frequencies of the PA in the John Stabler stand. After hours of work with Ian and the PA company I thought we had a solution. Obviously not.
As always we were at the stadium 3 hours before the game to set the PA and for last nights game we spent a lot of time on the sound quality for the Yorkshire Warriors.
During the sound check everything was OK, so I am concerned that there was a problem during the game, unfortunately I cannot be in two places at once so if there is problem in the John Stabler Stand I do not know about it until I see the complaint on here.

Yeah, same here - thought the lads went well last night given the circumstances.
John Davies MOM for me followed by Rhys, Bushy and Little Jack.
Just that poor five minutes on the hour really when Matty Dale found them two tries.
Got something of an insight into what young Tim Stubbs was facing from Nick Caldwell, who did a great job summarising again.
Tim was down to play for Acorn today but certainly is one for the future for the Knights.
Stunning 40-20 from CT which set us up for the Bushy try and a great step back inside from Tom, who was as brave as they come again last night.
Shame about the lights - it did seem really dingy in the second half and made player recognition a bit iffy over the far side.
Darren Williams from Hunslet there watching last night - wonder if he's looking for a signing or two ?
Good that there were some positives for Mick Rammo to talk about after the game and all the very best to him and all the others doing the 10K tomorrow.

Turncoats don't count Andy, didn't see Davies at all except when he was warming up trying to catch Powell's eye - otherwise, same order MoM for me, Clarkey finally got that bravery back that he lost after popping his shoulder.John Davies MOM for me followed by Rhys, Bushy and Little Jack.

Turncoats don't (GIVE 110%, HE DID !!!!) count Andy, didn't see Davies at all except when ( HE HAD PROBABLY MADE 20 TACKLES IN THE FIRST 20 MINUTES !!) he was warming up trying to catch Powell's eye - otherwise, same order MoM for me, Clarkey finally got that bravery back that he lost after popping his shoulder.

Andy
By "Don't count" I mean "What's the point of giving the MoM confidence boost to someone who doesn't want to be at York any longer than he has to be"
By "Didn't see" I mean "blocked him out completely for leading us all on all season, taking our money then sodding off to Batley for 2013"
RE: "HE HAD PROBABLY MADE 20 TACKLES IN THE FIRST 20 MINUTES !!"
Of course he did, Daryl Powell was there - just goes to show he doesn't really want to be at Batley next year either, or could he get a better win bonus at Fev?

Agree with most of that, thought CT had a really good game, would personally like him to
be a bit more 'greedy' when he has the ball & take the line on a bit more.

Thought Thorman had one of his best games for us on Friday, seems a massive waste that he's retiring from playing at the end of the season as he could easily cut it for another year or two at this level.

Clarkey was a good second option, Andy.
I don't know the circumstances of money/contracts offered etc as far as him leaving for Batley goes..
