well its being billed as the title decider next week against barrow. we really have to deny them a BP and its a big ask as they are a good team. i do think we have what it will take to deny them the BP at home if we perform to our capability. so its all or nothing with regards to the title next week.

head says losing team will get the bonus point.

heart says Town 30 Barrow 16

Can't disagree with any of that chief.... This is town so nothing really surprises !!! Here's hoping , but we need to rediscover that earlier form . But as I say , it is in there - we have the players. Unfortunately so do they , these loanies are reinforcing a good solid disciplined outfit. Maybe we'll add a player ? Game on .

if we play like we did in the 1st half against Oldham today it will be a close game....however if we defend and make as many mistakes as we did in the 2nd half we will not get a bonus point.

You have a winning habit though regardless of consistency of performance in games which is priceless and shows mental strength. You have us in the halves and that's my main worry.

With holt out, I think it will be a completely different game than at barrow, neither Campbell or Kaighan have good long kicking games so I think going in we should have the upper hand if only because of home advantage. Thank god it's not on tv

Kaighan has stepped up to the mark now that Holty has called it a day and his kicking today (and since he came in after the Worky game which was Holtys last ) was one of the best aspects of the win...one monsterous 40/20 was sublime and found space behind the Oldham defence every time. Campbell was in the thick of it as well and his defence has come on leaps and bounds.

We rested Dan Toal today as well ready for next week

Don't forget lee that we know quite a lot about Kaighan and where his weaknesses are!!!!!! Barrow fans are saying that the Oldham team today was the worst seen at Barrow this year so Kaighan wouldn't have any pressure on him today. I think he'll find it a bit different next week. How's his tackling these days?

Its going to be hard denying Barrow a BP. we are capable of a win but to deny them a BP i dont know...

With a massive VOCAL crowd we can maybe push the players that extra bit further.this game is huge!!

Town 31-28 Barrow. another nail biter!

Although haven managed to beat them and both us and barrow have beaten haven twice. He is a half wit though so you have to just humour him sometimes

Honestly you couldnt make it up. Hope some of them come to the C1 Game of the season on sunday between the two cumbrian big guns.

Haven fans are now making Gailer out to be a top coach because of two good results in the last two matches but no-one has mentioned yet that the good results coincide with the arrival of a proper assistant coach (Les Ashe) instead of a player with an extra title. Well done Les.
