With jowitt gone it'll be a different game all together. In derbys anything can happen so i'll take a 1 point win come sunday. However think our pack will be too big for them to control so:
Rams 20 - Dogs 24
1st Try: Applegarth
MOM: Keegan
Att: 2433

we need 3 points to keep the pressure on at the top, as its a derby i expect it to be tight, so not really bothered if we win by 1 or 100 as long as we have the 3 points in the bag at full time - we rarely produce 2 polished performances back to back, so after the good display against swinton we might be in for a bit of a trench war at the Ratite on Sunday.
It would however be nice to do a job on the old enemy, but as always, im braced for all outcomes and am expecting the unexpected!
One thing i will predict though, is that Batley fans will outnumber Dewsbury fans by 2 to 1, as per usual.
Yeah imsure you will outnumber us 2 to 1 at home.....

I hope he's right - with our 800 die hards, and 1600 of the dogs huge travelling army that'll give us a decent crowd. Injuries to key players, uncertainty over their immediate futures and maybe a split between the pro and anti jowett players should almost guarantee a comfortable win for the dogs unfortunately. Think WJ could have deferred his decision for a week.Yeah imsure you will outnumber us 2 to 1 at home.....

I think the Rams have more chance with WJ gone to be honest. I will have to revise my forecast down from 68 - 6 to 48 - 6 to the dogs

It will be a close affair as usual the Dewsbury team will want to prove point but the dogs will prevail 26 18 and we will definately bring more fans than the 50 or so who came to our place. Play offs for us only next season for the shams.

With only one prop available and one half back i doubt it
Dogs will win easy....
Only prop we have fit is Matty Nicholson, so Joe Chandler and Rob Spicer will have to prop as Brad Singleton as gone back to leeds with Liam Hood.
Pat Walker is out too so only have Scott Spavin whos a halfback as Ed Barber as left the club. Id imagine Goerge Flanagan will be at 6.

You're on a hiding to nothing piggy - if you win it'll be a hollow victory against a side with a massive injury list and in complete dissaray, if you lose - well it will have harold calling for the coaches head and demands for changes. Mind I don't think you'll lose much sleep over a hollow victory.I think the Rams have more chance with WJ gone to be honest. I will have to revise my forecast down from 68 - 6 to 48 - 6 to the dogs

I haven't called for any coaches head or demanded changes since mid way through the 2009 season. If you can back up your statement with posts that I've made, then go ahead.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?
